What To Expect

Barrio Historico
ColoniaColonia del Sacramento, known locally as Colonia, is the capital of the department of Colonia, Uruguay. Located a few kilometers southeast of the confluence of the Uruguay River and the Río de la Plata, its historic quarter was declared a World Heritage Site in 1995, illustrating the successful fusion of Portuguese, Spanish and post-colonial styles. Due to its proximity to the city of Buenos Aires, it has a strong link with it. There are many travelers who arrive and depart with that destination and also the inhabitants of Buenos Aires who have properties in it.
