Overview

Argentina is proud to have many literary, world-famous writers, many of whom lived in and were inspired by Buenos Aires. Let Alejandra, the main character from "On Heroes and Graves" by Ernesto Sábato, guide you through this special tour that pays homage to the great Argentine writers who made Buenos Aires immortal through their works. The tour starts in front of the Mario Moreno National Library. You will pass by an extraordinary building, the Museum of Books and Languages. Your narrator will tell you about Adolfo Bioy Casares. You will pass by the square named after the Argentine military. Then Alejandra will tell you about its creator, Ernesto Sabato. Also, it is impossible to think of literature in Buenos Aires without talking about Jorge Luis Borges. Finally, Alejandra will tell you a secret about the famous controversial political discussion between Sábato and Borges. Your tour will end in front of the magnificent Ateneo bookstore.
